Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Farnborough have made two more new signings and seen four more of last season`s squad commit for the 2021/22 campaign.

Big centre-back Dquame Copeland has joined Boro from Vanarama National League South side Welling United.

The 23-year-old 6`5” defender had signed for the Wings in July 2019, having previously plied his trade in Sweden for Ytterhogdals IK in the country’s fourth tier, narrowly missing out on promotion via play-offs.

Before heading to Sweden, he featured for Welsh side Conwy Borough, Bromley, Dagenham & Redbridge, Fleet Town, Tunbridge Wells and trialled with Scottish outfit Partick Thistle.

On his return, a spell with then-Isthmian South East side Greenwich Borough got him back in to the English game before finishing the 2018/19 season at Isthmian South Central outfit Bedfont Sports.

Forward Elijah Simpson has also signed for Spencer Day`s side from league rivals Beaconsfield Town.

The 24-year-old was a 2020 close season signing for Beaconsfield from Isthmian South Central side Westfield having impressed when playing against the Rams in the previous season`s Buildbase FA Trophy.

He was previously with Tooting & Mitcham United.

Re-signing for Boro Andrew Blake, CJ Fearn, Louis Paget and Tom Leggett.

Blake is a 21-year-old midfielder who originally signed for Farnborough in September 2020 from Isthmian Premier outfit Leatherhead, while Fearn, 25, is a combative midfielder who came through the club`s own ranks and is approaching 200 appearances for the senior side.

Paget is a 23-year-old full-back who joined Boro initially from league rivals Hartley Wintney in February 2020 and Leggett, another full-back, came to Boro in November 2018 from another league rival, Gosport Borough.
