Kings Langley, who have switched to the Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South for 2021/22, have added two new players to their squad.
Defensive midfielder Jacob Cook returns to the club from Vanarama National League South neighbours Hemel Hempstead Town.
Cook had signed for Hemel this time last year from National League side Wealdstone, who he had joined in June 2019 from Kings.
He originally moved to The Orbital Fasteners Stadium in 2017 from Spartan South Midlands League neighbours Codicote and was originally a scholar with Watford.
The Kings have also added goalkeeper Alfie Marriott to their ranks on a long-term loan deal from Premier League returnees Watford.
The 17-year-old is an exciting prospect for the future and manager Chris Cummins is delighted to be able to provide an opportunity for him at a good level of football.
The 6'1" keeper was retained by Watford until next summer, and it is hoped the chance of regular first-team football can help him develop into a full professional when he turns 18 in March 2022.
