Waltham Abbey`s latest new signing ahead of their first season in the Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central is right back Alex Anderson.

The 27-year-old moves to Capershotts from Southern Premier Division South side Kings Langley, where he had been since November 2019.

He had joined Kings from Southern Premier Central outfit Hitchin Town, having been a Canary since the summer of 2018 after arriving from another league rival, Biggleswade Town.

His other previous clubs include Maldon & Tiptree, Biggleswade FC and Witham Town.

However, the Abbots have lost stalwart defender Rimmell Daniel.

He made 201 appearances for the club over five seasons, having made his debut at home to Brightlingsea Regent in August of 2015.

He has joined Isthmian League Premier Division side East Thurrock United.
