Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Kidlington, who travel to Wodson Park to take on new boys Ware for their opening league game tomorrow, have boosted their squad with four new arrivals.

Defender Cian McCormack joins from Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One neighbours Abingdon United.

The 23-year-old has had a couple of spells at The Northcourt and has also been on the books at league rivals Wantage Town and represented Bristol University when studying there.

The 19-year-old had joined Kidlington`s league rivals Didcot Town in the summer of 2019 from League One side Oxford United where he played in the under-18s after progressing through the ranks.

An attacking full-back, he likes to get forward but without neglecting his defensive duties.

A third former Abingdon United player is 22-year-old Luke McCormack.

A big powerful player who can play in both defensive and attacking positions due to his size and power, he is a strong runner with the ball who possesses a great strike of the ball.

Oliver Creed, 26, is a midfielder who moves to the Greens from Kennington Athletic.

He joined the Oxfordshire Senior League side in August 2020 and also appeared for Sheerwater.
