Spencer Day, manager of Farnborough, who have made a decent start to the new Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South season, has added two new defenders to his ranks.

The most experienced is 25-year-old Kiran Khinda-John, a central defender who joins from Vanarama National League South side Eastbourne Borough, who he re-joined in May 2019 from league rivals Chelmsford City.

He signed for the Clarets in December 2018 following six months with National League outfit Woking.

He had joined the Cards in August 2018 after impressing while on trial at Kingfield during the pre-season.

The former Crystal Palace academy product spent four years with Eastbourne before moving away from the Sports.

Joining on loan from Woking is Leo Hamblin.

The 19-year-old is a Cards` academy graduate who signed his first professional contract earlier this summer.

He retained his place in the Woking squad after making his debut in April of the same year and going onto make 10 league appearances.

He is most comfortable at left-back but can also play in the centre of defence.

He first impressed during the shortened 2019/20 campaign, winning the Woking academy’s first years’ player of the year award.
