Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Merthyr Town have brought in young central defender on loan from Vanarama National League North side Hereford FC.

The 19-year-old Hereford academy graduate signed his first professional contract in 2019.

The central defender began training with the first-team squad during the 2019/20 season and continues to make spectacular progress. Indeed, he has already worn the captain’s armband, has shown an excellent aptitude for the game, and is keen to work alongside his senior colleagues to develop swiftly.

Quick to acknowledge his local roots with the under-18s and the academy when he was younger, after featuring in pre-season friendlies for the 2020/21 season, he made his competitive debut in December 2020 for the senior side.

The Martyrs have also signed 20-year-old former Swansea City midfielder Owen Evans.
