Southern League Division One Central club North Leigh have bolstered their squad with the re-signing of two players who were on their books in 2019/20.
Belize international and UKAF midfielder or defender Mike Atkinson has re-signed for another season with the Millers.
Atkinson, who joined the club in late December 2019, made his debut in a 3-0 Boxing Day triumph against rivals Didcot Town.
The nature of his work in the RAF means availability is limited meaning he only made 4 appearances for North Leigh last season.
Before choosing a career in the military, Atkinson’s footballing talent earned him a professional contract with then-League Two side York City.
He also had a spell with Vanarama National League South outfit Oxford City.
To date, he has earned 9 caps for the Belize national team, the most recent coming in the 2019 CONCACAF Nations League tournament.
Gifted right-back Isherwood will also be back in a Millers` shirt in the upcoming season.
The 19-year-old originally joined North Leigh on a month`s loan from SkyBet League One side Bristol Rovers in November 2019 which was extended until lockdown.
He made over 40 appearances for Rovers’ under-18 and development team prior to his move to Eynsham Park, having originally been with Uhlsport Hellenic League side Carterton`s youth set up.
He was recently released by The Gas.
