Parsons Leaves Lowestoft for Iceland

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Lowestoft Town have announced the departure of Connor Parsons.

The left-sided midfielder is leaving the Trawlerboys – and England – to join Icelandic third-tier side UMF Tindastoll, whose season runs from April until September.

The 20-year-old signed for Lowestoft in October 2020, having spent most of the 2020 pre-season with Vanarama National League clubs on trial.

He is a former professional with Norwich City before joining Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Norwich United for competitive games before the COVID pandemic ended the 2019/20 season early.
