Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Dorchester Town have announced that Oakley Hanger has agreed terms to remain at the Avenue Stadium for the 2021/22 campaign.
The attacking full-back, who was also appointed as manager of the Magpies` under-23 side during last season, re-joined the club for a second spell last summer following his return from the USA.
The 25-year-old originally made his debut in 2014, the former Magpie became a regular in the side at full-back going on to make over 60 appearances before moving to the USA, where he completed a four-year scholarship at Saginaw Valley State University, also playing for the Lander Bear Cats.
Manager Robbie Herrera told his club`s website: “Oakley’s another decent signing for us following on from last season.
“He's shown his versatility where he can play at the back or can play a little bit further forward, so we will be looking to utilise him and help improve his attacking play.
“We also need to work with him on his defensive positional play, but that will come - he’s good on the ball and he’s got a great attitude, so he’s one that we’re looking forward to working with for the coming season”.
