Jack Concannon
Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Tamworth have added two more players to their squad ahead of the big kick-off on Saturday.
The club have welcomed back 21-year-old midfielder Jack Concannon, who enjoyed a successful period on loan from Championship side Birmingham City in the 2018/19 season.
Concannon joined the Lambs in December 2018 and made his debut in a 2 – 1 home defeat to St Ives Town under Dennis Greene.
He quickly established himself as a first choice and went on to make 21 appearances in his loan spell scoring 6 goals.
His success at Tamworth resulted in Blues offering him a new contract where he went on to make his first team debut in an Emirates FA Cup tie against Coventry City.
However, two years later, it came as somewhat of a surprise to see him released.
Keelan Fallows
Meanwhile, after a successful trial period with the Lambs, young goalkeeper Keelan Fallows has also put pen-to-paper.
The 18-year-old was released by Championship side Coventry City at the end of last season and his impressive performances have encouraged Tamworth`s management team to sign the keeper as back up to Jas Singh.
Fallows spent five years with the Sky Blues, and apart from being a regular in their under-18 set up last season, was also called up for an England squad selection camp.
