Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Evesham United have taken Will Armitage on `work experience` from League One side Cheltenham Town.
The youngster made club history earlier this month when he became the youngest player to officially play for the Robins.
The central defender played the whole 90 minutes in a Papa John's Trophy group stage fixture with Exeter City at the age of 16 years and 213 days.
Having spent pre-season training alongside the first team at the start of his under-18s scholarship, the Bristol-based youngster has caught the eye with his progress at the club and it is hoped that getting more experience in men`s football will do him a power of good.
