Having already taken Liam Cross on loan from League Two side Northampton Town, Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Tamworth have now added striker Matt Stenson on a month`s loan from Vanarama National League outfit FC Halifax Town.
The 27-year-old joined the Shaymen in the summer of 2020 from league rivals Solihull Moors.
He had signed for Moors from Leamington in October 2018 for an undisclosed fee.
He had only been with the Brakes since the summer of 2018 after arriving from Barwell where he scored an impressive 20 goals in all competitions having joined the Canaries the previous summer from Hinckley-based Midland League Division One side Leicester Road (now Hinckley Leicester Road).
He played for his home-town club Coventry City for eight years, leaving due to family reasons.
As an 18-year-old he came through the youth team and made 23 appearances for Hinckley United in the Conference North and the Southern Premier as a central midfielder before the Knitters sadly went into liquidation.
It was at Hinckley that he suffered a hip injury that put him out of action for two-and-a-half-years.
After an operation, he returned to the game with Leicester Road, where 42 goals in 25 games brought him to the attention of Barwell.
He made his Lambs debut on Tuesday night as he continues his comeback from injury.
