Spalding Adds Britton to `Marine Group

Lee Spalding, manager of Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Swindon Supermarine, has announced the signing of midfielder Matt Britton from Southern League Division One South side Larkhall Athletic.

The 26-year-old, who can also play in central defence, is a robust presence.

He joined the Larks from Toolstation Western League side Cadbury Heath in 2017 and was the joint second top scorer in his first season with 11 goals.

He made 26 appearances this season for the Plain Ham outfit, scoring 8 times.

Spalding told his club`s website: “Our scouting team has watched Matt on a number of occasions, and we believe he has the attributes to be a success in the Premier Division South, and we welcome him to `Marine. We all hope his stay is a long and an enjoyable one”.
