Lee Spalding’s side beat Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division outfit Corsham Town 5-2.

Appropriately, it was the manager`s son Henry who gave `Marine a 22nd minute lead with a shot that went in under the Corsham keeper.

It was 2-0 on the half-hour mark when Conor McDonagh pounced on a loose ball after the Corsham keeper Rob Brown had parried Matt Britton’s initial effort.

However, right on the stroke of half-time, the Step 5 side reduced the deficit with a Gary Higdon header from a corner.

And on 58 minutes, `Marine keeper Martin Horsell was beaten again when Matty Jenkins set up Aysa Corrick to net from close range to make it 2-2.

Then, on 70 minutes, shortly after Horsell had made a fine save to deny Higdon, Supermarine re-took the lead when substitute Harry Williams headed in a Spalding cross.

Kieran Phillips then made it 4-2 in the 89th minute with a close-range finish and 6 minutes into stoppage time, Spalding added his second to make it a nap hand for his father’s team.
