Arriving at Liberty Way and joining earlier recruit Ryan Beswick is striker Matt Stenson.
The 28-year-old endured a lengthy spell on the sidelines last season through injury but made his comeback for FC Halifax Town in the recent Vanarama National League play-offs.
Stenson had signed for the Shaymen in the summer of 2020 from National League rivals Solihull Moors.
He had been with Moors after arriving from Leamington in October 2018 for an undisclosed fee.
He had only been with the Brakes since the summer of 2018 after arriving from Barwell where he scored an impressive 20 goals in all competitions having joined the Canaries the previous summer from Hinckley-based then-Midland League Division One side Leicester Road (now Hinckley LR.
He played for his home-town club Coventry City for eight years, leaving due to family reasons.
As an 18-year-old he came through the youth team and made 23 appearances for Hinckley United in the Conference North and the Southern Premier as a central midfielder before the Knitters sadly went into liquidation.
It was at Hinckley that he suffered a hip injury which put him out of action for two-and-a-half-years.
After an operation he returned to the game with Leicester Road, where 42 goals in 25 games brought him to the attention of Barwell.
