Another Ex-Biddy Defender Joins Tiverton

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Tiverton Town have signed a second former Bideford AFC defender.

Earlier this summer, the Yellows brought in Kai Fisher from the Southern Division One South outfit.

And now, following a successful trial period with the club, he has been joined by former team-mate Toby Down.

The 28-year-old started his career with League Two side Exeter City, with whom he made a couple of first team appearances and also had loan spells with Weymouth and Dorchester Town.

He has also played for Taunton Town and Buckland Athletic.

He joined Bideford in 2018 – his father is former club captain Ian Down - and made 109 appearances, scoring 9 goals.
