Jessop Added to Citizens Group

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Welwyn Garden City have further added to their squad for the upcoming season with the signing of versatile Max Jessop midfielder.

The 22-year-old was with near neighbours Colney Heath last season, where he was voted the players` player of the year at a club relegated back into the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division after just one season at Step 4.

He was an almost ever-present with Colney Heath and captained the side on occasions.

The Essex-based player joined Heath in 2020 and was previously with Hertford Town, Hatfield Town and Leverstock Green.
