And there are only three clubs unbeaten.

Truro City, Weston-super-Mare and newly promoted Bracknell Town have all yet to taste defeat in 2022/23.

The White Tigers top the fledgling table after winning 3-1 at another newly promoted side, Winchester City.

Truro led at the break, thanks to a 23rd-minute Tyler Harvey effort.

Will Dean then doubled the visitors` advantage just past the hour-mark.

However, Truro went down to ten-men on 67 minutes when Dan Sullivan was shown a straight red card.

But the numbers on the pitch were evened up 3 minutes later when Winchester were also reduced to ten-men after defender Archie Willcox received a second yellow card.

Harvey scored his second to make it 3-0 on 76 minutes and Winchester got a consolation from the penalty spot from Silva Obeng in stoppage time.

Weston won by the same scoreline at the BlackGold Stadium against Poole Town.

However, they had to come back from being an 11th minute Marcus Daws goal down to win, thanks to Marlon Jackson 4 minutes later, Kieran Thomas 3 minutes after half-time and a Dayle Grubb penalty in the 75th minute.

Bracknell are still yet to taste defeat as a Southern League club but were held to a second draw – 1-1 at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium against Tiverton Town.

The visitors` led through Seb Bowerman’s 10th-minute effort and when Tivvy had Louis Morison sent-off on 83 minutes for a second bookable offence, it looked as though the Robins were heading for an away win.

However, in the last minute, Niall Thompson fired goalwards, the ball ricocheted off a Bracknell defender and Jamie Richards backheeled it in to make it 1-1.

Still yet to record a win this season are Hendon, Plymouth Parkway and Harrow Borough.

Hendon became newly promoted North Leigh’s first victims at Step 3 level when the Millers triumphed 2-0 at Silver Jubilee Park.

Roger James gave the visitors a good start with a goal after 7 minutes and he doubled his side’s advantage 8 minutes after half-time – a lead they held on to.

Merthyr Town earned a second successive win, this time at Bolitho Park against fancied promoted Parkway.

A crowd of 613 saw a fine finish from Frazer Thomas after 83 minutes prove to be the difference between the two teams.

Harrow were also beaten 1-0 at their own Earlsmead home, by newly promoted Hanwell Town, for whom this was a third win.

A goal 9 minutes from time by Chid Onokwai earned the Geordies their victory.

Swindon Supermarine and Dorchester Town also both earned their third wins of the new campaign.

Supermarine beat Metropolitan Police 4-2 at the Webbswood Stadium.

An own goal attributed to Harry Taylor got `Marine up and running on the half-hour mark, and only 8 minutes later, Harry Williams made it 2-0.

Williams went on to complete a first-half hat-trick in the 42nd and 44th minutes to end a fine half for the hosts.

The Met `won` the second period though with a brace in 2 minutes midway through the half from Herson Alves.

Dorchester gained a 1-0 win at Holloways Park against Beaconsfield Town.

A goal from Jordan Ngalo with less than 6 minutes remaining earned the Magpies the spoils.

Chesham United beat Gosport Borough 2-1 at The Meadow for their second win.

Dan Wooden put Boro 1-0 in first half injury-time.

But the Generals fought back with goals from Zak Joseph after 63 minutes and Ricardo German on 78 minutes.

Gosport’s Harvey Bradbury was shown a straight red card for dissent in stoppage time.

Bookmakers` title favourites Hayes & Yeading United can’t quite get going yet and were held to a 0-0 draw at Hartley Wintney.

Salisbury, beaten at home by Hartley Wintney last Tuesday night, recovered well to inflict a 4-0 defeat on Yate Town at Lodge Road.

Brandon Goodship’s early 4th-minute opener gave the Whites a great start and Josh Sommerton doubled that in first half injury-time.

Goodship made it 3-0 with his second of the match in the 74th minute and he completed his hat-trick 6 minutes into time added on at the end of the match.
