Goalkeeper Alfie Marriott returns on `work experience` having made 32 appearances for Kings in 2021/22 after joining at the beginning of the campaign from then Premier League neighbours Watford.

He played a key role in the club’s successful battle against relegation, making a vital penalty save on the final day of the season to help the Kings escape the drop from the Premier Division South.

The 18-year-old born in Watford, joined the Hornets in 2012.

He is now part of the under-23 squad, having been offered a third-year scholarship at the end of an impressive 2021/22 season.

Also returning to Kings is forward Ben De Lacy-Turner, who made 4 appearances and scored one goal last season.

The 20-year-old joins on loan from Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town.

De Lacy-Turner featured for the Shots first-team this pre-season and is an energetic and hard-working forward who loves to run at defenders and in 22 games last season for the under-21s, had a combined 21 goals and assists.

He was previously with Potters Bar Town.
