Pitmen Bring in New Defender

Managerless Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Hednesford Town have signed defender Mikkel Hirst from United Counties League Premier Division North side Heather St Johns.

The 22-year-old from St Kitts & Nevis, who he represented at under-20 level,

He made his breakthrough with Vanarama National League side Solihull Moors where he featured for their academy.

He spent time on loan at Midland League Premier Division side Romulus and then left Solihull for Midland League Division One outfit Atherstone Town in July 2019.

In November 2019, he switched to league rivals Hinckley AFC and impressed during his 13 appearances for the club before lockdown, that earned him a chance at a higher level with a more permanent return to Romulus in the summer of 2020.

A year later he re-joined Hinckley before moving on to Heather.
