Truro Put Their Name in Trophy Hat

Truro City added their name to go into the draw for the next round of the Isuzu FA Trophy after a last-gasp goal saw them beat Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South rivals Salisbury at Bolitho Park in the Third Qualifying Round on Sunday.

A first half devoid of many opportunities ended goalless.

More was seen of the White Tigers as an attacking force but as the game progressed, it looked more and more like heading for penalties.

That was until the 90th minute when, on a counter-attack, Tyler Harvey broke clear and found Rocky Neal, who slotted the ball past Ged Benfield in the Salisbury goal.
