Winger Bailey Kempster has returned to Division One South side Willand Rovers for a fourth time.

The 19-year-old, who has been with Weston since he was 16, spent the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons gaining experience with Rovers on loan.

In his first spell shortened by the pandemic, he made 7 appearances and scored one goal.

Then last season, he returned to Rovers and spent the majority of the campaign at Silver Street, playing 32 times and netting 5 goals.

He made another Rovers return last month and has now extended his stay.

Also returning to the same division as Kempster with Slimbridge is defender Jack Holmes.

The 24-year-old signed for the Seagulls in August 2021 having only signed for Slimbridge a month earlier from Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Brimscombe & Thrupp, where he was in his second spell.

He started out at Cheltenham Town at the age of 8 and remained with the Robins until under-15 level before joining Forest Green Rovers.

But he suffered a nasty injury in an FA Youth Cup match against Hungerford Town, cracking four vertebrae in his back after a heavy fall.

Having returned to full fitness and with senior first-team experience under his belt with Brimscombe, he moved to the United States in the summer of 2017 for a new challenge in Miami at Northeaster Oklahoma A&M College.

He re-signed for Brimscombe & Thrupp upon his return to England.

Returning for a longer spell with Weston’s league rivals Tiverton Town is attacking midfielder Alfie Moulden.

The 21-year-old signed for the Seagulls in late October 2021 for an undisclosed fee from Willand Rovers.

He had joined Rovers in the summer of 2020 from Ilfracombe.

He had joined Bideford AFC in late August 2019 from league rivals Barnstaple Town having previously been with League Two side Bradford City`s academy, North Devon Leaguers Boca Seniors and Exeter City, where he played for the under-18s.
