Stratford Borrow Young Sky Blues Keeper

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Stratford Town have signed young goalkeeper Luke Bell on a month’s loan from Championship side Coventry City.


Bell signed his first professional contract with the Sky Blues in the summer.

The young keeper signed a two-year deal with the club, after impressing at under-18 level over the past two seasons.

Bell joined Coventry in early 2020 from Wolverhampton Wanderers, first joining the under-16s before moving to under-18s from the 2020/21 season.

The 18-year-old was also a key part of the Sky Blues side that progressed to the Professional Development League Cup final last season.

Bell has featured for the Sky Blues` under-21s this campaign and will now look to get some first-team minutes with the Bards.

He made his debut in Saturday’s Isuzu FA Trophy defeat to league rivals Royston Town.
