FC Romania Bring in a Boxer

Making his debut for FC Romania in Wednesday’s 1-0 home defeat to Biggleswade FC was midfielder Panayiotis Boxer.

The 25-year-old makes the now well-worn path from league rivals Walthamstow to re-join joint bosses John Mackie and Terry Spillane at Theobalds Lane.

The brother of another non-League player in Tom Boxer, Panayiotis joined then-Southern Division One Central side St Neots Town in September 2019 from Mildenhall Town and then moved to Isthmian South Central outfit Chalfont St Peter in August 2020.

He had signed for Hall from Newmarket Town having previously been with from Spartan South Midlands League side Hadley.

Like his sibling, he has also previously turned out for Cockfosters.
