The Comrades beat Hertford Town 2-0 at Broadwater, while overnight leaders Ware suffered back-to-back defeats, losing 4-3 at Wodson Park to struggling Cirencester Town.

Alie Bangura gave Berko a 23rd-minute lead that Ryan Kinnane doubled 2 minutes after half-time.

Cirencester finally broke their duck last weekend against FC Romania and made it two wins and move out of the relegation zone at Ware.

And they had to come back from being 2-0 down to win.

Sam Chaney after 32 minutes and Josh Williams immediately after the break gave Ware a two-goal cushion.

But Adulai Sambu 5 minutes later and then on 70 minutes pulled the Centurians back on level terms.

Reegan Messenger then put the visitors in front 2 minutes later, only for Paul Halsey’s side to level within a minute through Rene Howe.

But Sambu completed his hat-trick to win it for John Brough’s men 10 minutes from time.

Kempston Rovers dropped to fifth after they lost 4-1 at Hillgrounds to Hadley, who are now 11th.

Peter Rosemin put the visitors in front on the half-hour mark, only for Ben Baker to pull the Walnut Boys level just 3 minutes later.

Cheik Zidouemba made it 2-1 to Hadley 5 minutes on and then Finley Aldridge on 71 minutes and Zach Uribarri on 83 minutes killed the hosts off.

Didcot Town are now third and AFC Dunstable fourth after both earned 1-0 wins on Saturday.

An Andi Noka goal on the hour-mark saw the Railwaymen beat Biggleswade FC at the Loop Meadow Stadium, while Sam McClelland’s goal 10 minutes after half-time secured the OD’s win at Theobalds Lane against FC Romania.

Kidlington are now seventh after they shared a 2-2 draw at the Yvette Brewer Stadium against Biggleswade Town.

Tom Moore gave the visitors an early 5th-minute lead that Obidina Onyeagwara cancelled out 7 minutes later.

Ryan Knight eventually restored the visitors` lead in the 73rd minute, but Aaron Austin levelled the scores for the Waders 5 minutes from time.

Barton Rovers are still awaiting a first win in 2022/23 after suffering a 5-1 defeat at Capershotts to Waltham Abbey, who are now ninth.

A Martel Powell own goal gave the Abbots a 24th-minute lead that Kit Brown cancelled out on 31 minutes.

Richard Asamoah restored the home side’s lead 5 minutes later and then an Osaretin Otote brace on 41 and 61 minutes pulled the Abbots clear, with George Okoye adding the fifth in the 73rd minute.

Second-from-bottom Aylesbury United also lost, 2-1 at Wadham Lodge to Walthamstow, for whom Jordan Watson opened the scoring after 23 minutes.

But Tom McElroy looked to have earned the Ducks a point with an 86th minute equaliser.

However, Damaray Anyadike grabbed Stow’s winner 8 minutes into stoppage time!

Thame United dropped to third-from-bottom after losing 3-1 at Herns Lane against Welwyn Garden City.

Max Jessop gave the Citizens an early 8th-minute lead that Carlos Flood doubled on the half-hour mark.

Josh Hutchinson eventually scored a third for the hosts after 67 minutes, with Greg Hackett netting an 82nd-minute consolation for the Red Kites.

Harlow Town pulled out of the bottom three after sharing a 3-3 draw at Highworth Town.

After a goalless opening period, Jared Small broke the deadlock to give the Hawks a 58th-minute lead.

On 67 minutes, Harrison Edwards received his second yellow card and Small doubled Harlow’s lead from the resulting penalty.

But the Worthians scored three times in 4 minutes, starting in the 74th, with Sol Pryce, Tom Ballard and then Felipe Barcelos to lead 3-2, only for Layne Eadie to level matters in time added on at the end of the game.
