Fey Moves Swiftly to Obtain Another Loan Keeper

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Melksham Town have lost on-loan goalkeeper Alfie Burnett, who has been recalled by League One side Forest Green Rovers and goes straight into their squad for the away trip to Barnsley.

However, manager Richard Fey – a former keeper himself of course – has managed to obtain 18-year-old Mac Boyd on loan from Championship side Bristol City in time for their away game at bottom-of-the-table Lymington Town.

Boyd has only just returned to Ashton Gate after spending a month with Melksham’s league rivals Frome Town.

Boyd progressed through the Bristol City academy and signed a two-year professional deal in May and has been turning out for the under-23s.
