Paulton Rovers Sign Two From Shepton Mallet FC

Loxton and Durbin bring in two well known players.

Paulton have signed 27 years old Joe Morgan (pictured right) who hails from Radstock and 30 year old Nick Hewlett both joining from Shepton Mallet.

Morgan has been at Shepton over the last seven years making 330 appearances. He has proven to be one of the league's most consistent and best forwards. An all-round player that brings strength, pace, hard work and goals which he brings to Rovers.

Hewlett, a versatile defender, who was previously team captain of Shepton Mallet is a standout out performer for the last few seasons.

Both are cup tied for Tuesday's Somerset Premier Cup trip to Keynsham Town, so will join the squad for Saturday's league trip to Hamworthy United. Both are looking forward to the challenge of stepping up to Southern League football.
