Pompey Keeper Loaned to Salisbury

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Salisbury have signed young goalkeeper Toby Steward on loan from League One side Portsmouth for the rest of the season.

Steward signed his first professional contract with Pompey in February 2022, putting pen-to-paper on a deal until the summer of 2024.

He has trained regularly with the first team this season and has been on the bench on 7 occasions, including league trips to Wycombe Wanderers and AFC Wimbledon.

Steward has also gained international recognition, taking part in a development camp for England keepers.

He spent the first half of this season on loan at Isthmian League Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town, making 26 appearances.
