Centre-back Henry Hawkins moves to Holloways Park from Championship side Queens Park Rangers on `work experience`.

The 19-year-old is very dominant in the air and also comfortable with the ball at his feet.

The left-footed centre-back has been with Rangers since under-9 level and was heavily involved with the under-18s in 2021/22 but has since regularly featured for the B team.

Goalkeeper Kie Plumley, also 19, joins the Rams on a month’s loan from League One side Oxford United.

Plumley signed professional terms in December 2021, putting pen-to-paper on an 18-month deal.

He joined the U’s as a scholar having already played senior football for Combined Counties League Premier Division side Camberley Town.

Over the last two years, he has stepped up to become United's under-21 keeper and has appeared on the bench in the first team as cover for Simon Eastwood and Jack Stevens.

He has had previous loan spells with North Leigh and Weston-super-Mare, Bowers & Pitsea, Oxford City and Faversham Town.
