Truro are now a point ahead of Weston at the top of the table after the Seagulls were left frustrated at the Webbswood Stadium by a stubborn defensive effort from Supermarine, who are tenth.
Chesham United are just a point behind the Seagulls, albeit having played two games more, after they won 2-0 at The Meadow against fourth-from-bottom Hendon.
A crowd of 477 saw Jeanmal Prosper give the Generals the lead on the half-hour mark.
And the second goal arrived 4 minutes into the second half when Liam Ferdinand was put through to finish well.

Gary Abisogun eventually equalised just past the hour-mark and then a penalty converted by Darryl Sanders 9 minutes later, gave the Robins the lead.
On 76 minutes, Kamaron English pulled the visitors 3-1 up, although Hanwell did manage to reduce the arrears to one through Lewis Cole 4 minutes later.

A penalty from Boro’s Brad Tarbuck opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and Harry Hutchinson equalised for the hosts in the 23rd minute.
It wasn’t a great afternoon for the teams chasing a top-five spot as, apart from Poole dropping points, seventh-placed Dorchester Town were beaten 3-0, eighth-placed Merthyr Town drew 2-2 and Beaconsfield Town lost 1-0, all making it a decent day for last season’s play-off losers, Hayes & Yeading United, who beat bottom side North Leigh 3-1 and moved up to 11th and are now only six points adrift of the play-off places.
Dorchester lost 3-0 at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium to Tiverton Town.
Louis Morrison gave the Devonians a 23rd-minute lead that he doubled right on the stroke of half-time.
Jamie Richards made the points safe with a third just past the hour-mark, although Tiverton did have to play the final 14 minutes with ten-men after Josh Jones received a second yellow card.
Merthyr’s long treck to Winchester City’s Charters Community Stadium saw the points shared in a 2-2 draw.
But the Martyrs will be kicking themselves as they led 2-0 at the break with goals from Ricardo Rees after 35 minutes and Lewis Powell 5 minutes before the interval.
Archie Willcox reduced the deficit just past the hour-mark and then on 78 minutes, Merthyr came mighty close to making it 3-1 but Frazer Thomas` shot rocketed back off a post.
Warren Bentley pounced to pull Winchester level in the 85th minute and then 3 minutes later, the visitors once again were unfortunate to see Powell’s effort come back off the same post!
A crucial win for Harrow Borough, who moved out of the bottom four with a 1-0 Earlsmead victory over Beaconsfield.
A goal from Anointed Chukwu right on the stroke of half-time eventually proved enough for Steve Baker’s side.
Hayes & Yeading gave struggled to get going following last season’s play-off final disappointment.
However, Paul Hughes` men are back on track after a 3-1 win at the SKYex Community Stadium against bottom-markers North Leigh.
Adam Liddle gave the hosts a 22nd-minute lead that top marksman Moses Emmanuel added to just 3 minutes later.
And Gunn reduced the deficit for the Millers after 33 minutes and it wasn’t until the 90th minute that Hayes & Yeading could relax when Emmanuel grabbed his second the team’s third.
There was a big win too for Plymouth Parkway, who are still playing catch-up on fixtures.
Lee Hobbs` side won 1-0 at the Ray Mac against fast-falling Salisbury, for whom this was a fifth straight defeat.
Callum Hall’s 73rd-minute effort proved to be Parkway’s winner, although their star man was new loan signing from Exeter City, young keeper Harry Lee, who produced a number of fine saves to keep a precious clean sheet.
