The Ghanianm who turns 36 next week, joins the Geordies from Isthmian League South East side Sittingbourne.

He moved to the Kent outfit in July 2022 from the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals, and made 25 appearances.

He had been with Casuals since August 2021.

He started his career with National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough having represented Watford and Maidenhead United as a youngster.

He moved `north of the border` in 2007 to sign for Gretna in the Premier League, before the Anvil's administration saw him become a free agent.

A fruitful three-season spell with Northampton Town followed, where he notably netted the winning penalty at The Kop end to help the Cobblers knock Liverpool out of the League Cup in September 2010.

He then headed across Europe in 2011, signing for Kerkyra in the Greek Superleague where he spent a season before returning to the UK with Crewe Alexandra where he was a mainstay of the side in League One.

The well-travelled midfielder was back up north to join Partick Thistle - then of the Scottish Premiership - where he served as club captain for much of his four years at the Firhill side.

After his departure from the Jags, he had another spell in Greece with Lamia before returning to play for Falkirk, Queen of the South and then Vanarama National League South side Dartford.

He returned to Scotland in January 2021 with Brechin City, where he made 8 appearances before football was halted due to the pandemic.

Hanwell have also extended the loan of defender Anthony Cheshire from league rivals Bracknell Town.
