Rowe Becomes a Glassboy

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Stourbridge have signed left back or midfielder Callum Rowe following his recent departure from Vanarama National League North side Hereford FC.

The 23-year-old had been with the Bulls since November 2022 after arriving at Edgar Street following a very short spell with Southern Premier Division South outfit Salisbury.

He had arrived at the Ray Mac from National League side Yeovil Town, where he had been since late August 2022.

He has played mostly as a defender but can also operate in midfield and joined following his release by the League One Exeter City at the end of the 2021/22 season.

He had a trial at Scottish Championship side Dundee following his release by Exeter but failed to win a deal.

The Leicester-born player was part of a youthful Aston Villa side which went toe-to-toe with Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round in January 2021, providing an assist for his side’s only goal scored by Louie Barry in a 4-1 defeat.

Following his release, he joined Exeter in the summer of 2021 and after a couple of early appearances went out on loan at Chippenham Town and Bath City in the National League South before returning to make 7 appearances in the final couple of months of the League Two season which saw the Grecians promoted.
