PST Sport Club of the Month Awards for February 2023

In each division, the club with the best average points per game is declared the winner.

Clubs must have played a minimum of three games during the month in either a league, League Cup, FA Cup or FA Trophy match to be considered.

Should more than one club have the same best average points per game, then the winner shall be declared as the club with the best goal difference (in league matches) and if that is equal the club scoring the most goals.

PST Sport are the sponsors of the Southern Football League's club of the month awards for the four divisions.

Each winner receives an engraved glass memento along with a voucher for use with the company.

The Premier Division South winners – and for the second time this season – are Hayes & Yeading United.

Hayes & Yeading began the month with back-to-back home wins against North Leigh and Metropolitan Police.

They then suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the Optima Stadium against leaders Weston-super-Mare – their only defeat of the month – and a busy time continued with victories over Hendon, Yate Town, Hanwell Town and Merthyr Town, with a 0-0 draw against fellow play-off contenders, Swindon Supermarine.

Winning the Division One Central award for an amazing fourth time this season to date are Berkhamsted.

Chris Devane’s side won every match in the month and are presently running away with the title, being 18 points clear at the moment.

The Comrades began the month with a 2-1 victory over Waltham Abbey, followed that with away wins at Biggleswade Town and Barton Rovers, completed a quickfire `double` over the Waders at Broadwater, won 3-0 at play-off contenders Welwyn Garden City and then edged a tight game 1-0 at home against Thame United.

AFC Totton are embroiled in an exciting title battle with neighbours Sholing but it was the Stags who gained the February award with an average of 2.50 points-per-game.

They began the month with a 4-1 home win over Bristol Manor Farm but then lost the battle of the top two when Brad Targett scored the only goal for Sholing.

Since then, AFC Totton have won 1-0 at Paulton Rovers, 3-1 at Exmouth Town, 3-0 at home to Melksham Town and 2-1 last time out at Willand Rovers.
