Experienced Keeper Cover for Bracknell

Promotion-chasing Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Bracknell Town have brought back experienced goalkeeper Mark Scott on dual registration for the run-in.

The 32-year-old has made 11 appearances for Isthmian League South Central Division leaders Basingstoke Town this season, having moved to `Stoke in September 2022 from Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town, where he had only been since July 2022.

He left Bracknell at the end of the 2021/22 season and had signed for their league rivals Beaconsfield Town but the lure of playing at Step 2 level was too good an opportunity to turn down.

He played a big part of the Robins’ success over the past few seasons and started 2021/22 as the number one for Bracknell in the Isthmian South Central. However, he suffered a muscle injury in the Emirates FA Cup tie at Burgess Hill Town and found himself out of the side.

He started out with Aldershot Town and then Swindon Town before having spells with Salisbury and Oxford City and played 95 times for Slough Town during the Rebels climb back up the divisions but suffered a serious neck injury during a game against Basingstoke in 2017.
