The 21-year-old has played the majority of his career at left back but can play further up the field and in numerous positions.
A product of West Bromwich Albion’s academy programme, Dyce played twice in the EFL Trophy during the 2020/21 season for the Baggies’ under-23 side.
Following his release from The Hawthorns, Sunderland swooped for the youngster on a free transfer and Dyce linked up with the Black Cats’ under-23s.
He made his Sunderland debut in October 2021 in an EFL Trophy victory over Manchester United under-23s, scoring in a 2-1 win.
In March 2022, he joined Vanarama National League North side Spennymoor Town on loan for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.
