Interesting Dual Signings Ahead of Deadline by Bracknell

Bracknell Town, still battling to win the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South title, registered three players on dual registration ahead of the deadline in case of emergencies.

Highly rated midfielder Kensley Maloney has re-joined the Robins on dual terms with Isthmian League South Central side Uxbridge, for whom he has made 35 appearances to date this season.

The 27-year-old had joined Uxbridge in March 2022 from Southern Premier Division South side Metropolitan Police, where he had only been since January 2022 having re-joined Isthmian South Central outfit Binfield in November 2021 having switched to another of Bracknell’s league rivals, Beaconsfield Town, in the summer of 2021.

He joined Vanarama National League South outfit Hungerford Town in June 2020 from Isthmian South Central side Westfield, who he had signed for in February 2020 from then-league rivals Bracknell, where he had returned to in November 2019.

He had signed for the Robins from Southern Premier South outfit Harrow Borough, having moved to Boro in July 2019 from Bracknell.

His other previous clubs include Marlow, Burnham and Slough Town, and he re-joined Harrow in September 2020, then had his first spell with Binfield and was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2020/21 FA Vase.

Joining from National League South neighbours Slough Town on dual terms is defender Josh Jackman.

The 31-year-old joined Slough back in the summer of 2016 from March Town United after a recommendation to the Rebels.

And he has developed to become an important member of the Rebels` first team squad.

And interestingly, joining Jackman in signing dual forms for Bracknell is his player-manager Scott Davies!

The experienced 35-year-old midfielder re-joined Slough in May 2021 and has also been on dual registration with Beaconsfield Town.

He signed for Southern Premier Division Central side Biggleswade Town as player/assistant-manager in August 2020.

He had been with Isthmian South Central side Harlow Town since March 2019 and then joined re-joined National League South side Slough Town in July 2019.

He came through the youth systems at Watford and Wycombe Wanderers, before joining Reading's youth set-up where he went on to sign a professional deal.

He spent five years with the Royals, making 4 appearances in his time there, while he also spent time out on loan at Aldershot Town for two seasons, and he helped the Shots to the Conference title in 2008, winning promotion to the Football League.

Shorter loan spells at Wycombe and Yeovil Town followed, and when he was released by Reading in 2011, he joined Crawley Town.

He went on to feature for Dunstable Town, Wealdstone, Oxford City, Chelmsford City, before he moved to Slough Town in March 2018, aiding in their successful promotion to the National League South.

He left Slough to join Kingstonian at the start of February 2019 but left the club after a managerial change to join Harlow.

He was appointed first team manager in November 2022
