Sam Mantom - multiple winner
Premier Division Central club Bromsgrove Sporting may not have enjoyed the best of seasons, finishing 18th, albeit it 9 points clear of the relegation zone, but they had some impressive performers throughout 2022/23.
Goalkeeper Ollie Taylor was the choice of the supporters, having made 37 appearances and been in outstanding form.
Manager Michael McGrath’s choice as his player of the year went to forward Brandon Smalley who, despite only joining the Rouslers in November 2022 from Yate Town, contributed 9 goals in his 36 matches.
The players` player of the year award went to 32-year-old Tom Taylor, who played 28 league matches.
Making his breakthrough into the senior side this season, Ayo Lekuti lifted the club’s young player of the season trophy, having made 16 first team appearances.
Bromsgrove’s Worcestershire neighbours and league rivals Redditch United also revealed their award winners following their final game of the campaign.
The supporters` player of the year was 27-year-old defender Lewis Hudson.
With 42% of the votes, the consistent full back won the Alf Kimberley Memorial Trophy by some distance.
The choice of manager Matt Clarke – for the second successive season – was another defender, Ryan Wollacott.
The 28-year-old was an ever-present at the back for the Reds.
The prestigious players` player award was also won by Wollacott.
Brendan Mensah claimed the `golden boot` for his 17 goals.
Rushall Olympic have a little matter of the Premier Division Central play-offs to look forward to tomorrow.
However, they have already announced their player awards in which the experienced 31-year-old former Walsall favourite Sam Mantom dominated.
He received the supporters` player of the year award for scoring 14 league goals in 35 matches, also earning him the `golden boot`.
Mantom also claimed the players’ player of the season gong, with defender Jordaan Brown as runner-up.
Manager Liam McDonald’s choice as his player of the year, however, went to midfielder Jourdain Masidi.
Premier Division South club Beaconsfield Town enjoyed their best finish at Step 3 level after ending the 2022/23 campaign in 11th spot, beating their previous best of 12th achieved in 2018/19.
And that after having to change managers in February when Gary Meakin departed and was replaced by former Slough Town joint bosses Jon Underwood and Neil Baker.
Their awards went to Sam Togwell, who received the supporters` player of the season trophy after netting 8 times in 28 league matches for the Rams.
Striker Nathan Minhas top scored with a very creditable 24 goals in 37 games and claimed the players` player of the year award.
And the choice as managers` player of the 2022/23 campaign went to midfielder Kyel Reid, who chipped in with 8 goals in 28 league games.
Beaconsfield’s league rivals Metropolitan Police revealed their supporters` player of the year and it went to 24-year-old defender Conor Lee, who had a standout debut campaign after being signed last summer from Combined Counties League side Spelthorne Sports.
Hayes & Yeading United missed out on the play-offs this season and ended up in seventh place.
There was little doubt who would receive the plaudits though for his efforts in scoring an amazing 34 goals in 37 league matches – striker Moses Emmanuel, who picked up the supporters` player of the year gong.
He claimed more than half of the vote from the United fans to deservedly pick up his accolade.
Runner-up was 22-year-old defender Paul Field, who has had an excellent debut season for United after joining in August 2022 from Stratford Town.
Charlie Wise
Division One South clubs Evesham United and Wimborne Town have both got important play-off matches to look forward to tomorrow night, but both have revealed their award winners for 2022/23.
Evesham, who pipped Wimborne to fourth place on goal difference, saw defender Charlie Wise pick up the supporters` player of the year gong.
The 27-year-old former Banbury United and Brackley Town centre-back made 38 league appearances and chipped in with 4 goals.
Striker Kyle Belmonte, 23, scored some tremendous goals – some of which featured prominently in our `Goals Show`, received the `golden boot` for his 13 league goals.
Wimborne’s supporters` player of the year award went to midfielder Jez Bedford.
The 24-year-old former Poole Town man moved to the Magpies in November 2021 and played 21 league games and scored 4 times.
Manager Tim Sills` choice as his player of the season went to defender Dan Bartlett, who not only had a consistent campaign, but also registered 10 goals as well.
