Defender Callum Ryan-Phillips has become the latest to put pen-to-paper to remain with the Martyrs.
The 19-year-old signed for Merthyr in July 2022 after impressing as a triallist in pre-season.
He joined the Martyrs after being released by League Two neighbours Newport County.
He made his senior debut for Newport in October 2020 in an EFL Trophy defeat to Norwich City under-21s.
He made his second appearance a month later in the same competition against Plymouth Argyle.
Martyrs boss Paul Michael told his club’s website: “Callum came in last summer and made the step up to senior football seamlessly for such a young player.
“Callum played in some of our best runs of the season including keeping a clean sheet at Gloucester demonstrating his potential.
“Callum is only going to get better but he’s already demonstrated how good he is one v one when people try to run him, that he enjoys a physical duel with a striker and a brilliant ability to step in with the ball. Here’s to seeing more of those marauding forward runs next season”.
