Another New Eagle Checks In

Busy, busy Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Bedford Town have announced they have reached an agreement to sign Manny Dahie.

The 28-year-old central midfielder has experience at Step 4 level, playing 70 games for Kempston Rovers, scoring 4 goals since 2019.

Before this, he was with Clean Slate FC and MK Gallacticos.

He is a very physical box-to-box central midfielder, who stands at 6`2” and loves to break up play, getting around the pitch.

Fitness is his key and manager Lee Bircham feels he will play a big part of the midfield engine room going forward this season.

Bedford director Jon Taylor and Bircham told their club’s website: "Manny has come to us with good standing and he has an aura about him with his physical presence. We are delighted he has signed for Bedford, turning down a Step 3 club which he was offered to go to at the same time as we were speaking to him.

"We know he will be the catalyst amongst others in our midfield engine room. He provides good aerial ability, his physical tackling, great strength and an ordinate amount of pace with his driving box to box runs. He also thrives on out of possession hard work, where we believe a game is won. He is a loyal lad who gives 100% effort and dedication, and will be one to watch this season".
