A look at many Pitching In Southern Football League club's final games of pre-season.

Premier Division Central

Halesowen Town had a crowd of 586 for their game at The Grove against Northern Premier League Division One Midlands new boys Walsall Wood and won 2-0.

A brace from Miracle Okafor in the first half for the Yeltz.

Berkhamsted were surprised by Division One Central side Ware at the Glencar Community Stadium as Paul Halsey’s side ran out 1-o winners.

A free-kick from Ware’s new signing Mitch Hahn on 39 minutes proved the difference.

Coalville Town lost 2-1 at Vanarama National League North side Gloucester City.

Harry Pritchard and Joe Hanks edged the Tigers 2-0 ahead by the hour-mark.

Eliot Putman pulled one back for the Ravens on 63 minutes.

Stourbridge edged a 2-1 win at Northern Premier Division One Midlands side Sporting Khalsa.

Niall Flint and Joe Hull on the mark for the Glassboys.

Needham Market ran out 4-1 winners at Bloomfields against NPL Division One Midlands side Cambridge City.

Jacob Lay, Luke Ingram, Callum Page and Ollie Fraser were the Marketmen on target.

Another NPL Division One Midlands outfit, Spalding United, held Kettering Town to a 1-1 draw at Latimer Park.

The Poppies goal in the 3rd minute came from a triallist, with James Peters heading the Tulips` equaliser just after half-time.

Bromsgrove Sporting enjoyed a very good 2-1 win at the Victoria Ground against ambitious NPL Premier Division side Macclesfield FC.

Kane Drummond gave the Silkmen a 37th minute lead that Michael McGrath cancelled out just 3 minutes later.

Conor Tee put the hosts in front on 62 minutes but 10 minutes later, both sides were reduced to ten-men.

Sporting’s new signing Prince Henry and Macc’s Paul Dawson seeing red - the former with a straight red card, whilst the latter received a second yellow card.

Stratford Town beat NPL Division One Midlands side Bedworth United 3-0 at the Arden Garages Stadium.

Charlie Williams bagged a brace to see the Bards leading 2-0, although they had Callum Ebanks dismissed for reacting to a foul in the build up to Williams` second goal.

Riley O’Sullivan added the hosts` third.

Barwell were beaten 2-0 at the Compare The Build Stadium by hosts, National League North new boys Tamworth.

Dan Creaney and a Ben Milnes free-kick in the 90th minute for the Lambs.

Stamford shared a 1-1 draw at the Zeeco Stadium with National League North side Boston United.

The Pilgrims took a 25th minute lead through Kelsey Mooney.

Nuneaton Borough were put to the sword at The FCS Stadium by visiting NPL Premier Division side FC United of Manchester.

Jan Palinkas, Max Crane, Michael Donohue, Elliott Morris and Keegan Hartley were the Reds on the mark.

Alvechurch also found NPL Premier Division opposition tough as they went down to a 3-0 defeat at Warrington Rylands.

A brace from Joe Piggott and one from Adama Sidibeh in the first half sealing the hosts win.

Redditch United were beaten 2-0 at the Trico Stadium by National League North outfit Hereford.

Lassana Mendes in the first half and Adam Livingstone 4 minutes after the break for the Bulls.

Long Eaton United were beaten 1-0 at Grange Park in their final pre-season game against NPL Division One East side Belper Town.

Kevin Bastos slotted home the only goal late on to separate the two sides after he had won a penalty in just the 2nd minute. However, Ross Durrant dived down to his left and made a great save to deny his former club an early opener.

The match was abandoned 5 minutes from time after the referee produced a red card for Micah Jebbison and several Belper players following an incident by the touchline.

AFC Sudbury shared a 1-1 draw at Isthmian North visitors Felixstowe & Walton United, with Jake Turner on target for the visitors.

Premier Division South

Hitchin Town secured a 2-1 win at Top Field against league rivals Royston Town in the quarter-finals of the Herts Charity Cup.

Isaac Galliford gave the Canaries a 28th minute lead that Diogo Gouveia eventually doubled in the 82nd minute.

Tom Newman netted a consolation for the Crows 5 minutes into stoppage time.

Hungerford Town won 3-0 at Isthmian League South Central outfit Thatcham Town.

After a goalless first half, Michael Fernandes, Sean Moore and a 25-yard Conor McDonagh effort sealed the win for Danny Robinson’s side.

National League South side Slough Town ran out comfortable 4-0 winners at Arbour Park against Bracknell Town.

The Rebels led 3-0 at the break through a brace from Tom McElroy and one from player boss Scott Davies.

Former Beaconsfield Town striker Nathan Minhas added a fourth late on.

Gosport Borough enjoyed themselves at home to Isthmian League South Central side Hartley Wintney, winning 6-0.

Gosport led 5-0 at half-time with goals from Jordan, Brad Tarbuck, Rafael Ramos with two and Dan Wooden.

Harvey Rew made it 6-0 late on.

Beaconsfield Town travelled down to Five Heads Park to take on Isthmian League South East newcomers Horndean and enjoyed a convincing 5-0 win.

Elliott Buchanan bagged a brace on 16 and 20 minutes and Alex Yearwood made it 3-0 in the 26th minute

Two more in the final 8 minutes from Lenny Farhall and Jonathan Hippolyte made it a nap hand for the Rams.

Winchester City won 2-1 at Division One South newcomers Cribbs, thanks to a brace from Conor Lynch, with Ryan Crouch replying.

Hendon shared a 2-2 draw with Premier Division Central side St Ives Town at Silver Jubilee Park.

Merthyr Town suffered a 5-0 defeat at JD Cymru Premier side Penybont, whose Chris Venables netted a hat-trick.

Plymouth Parkway had a 90th minute Dylan Jones header to thank for rescuing a 1-1 draw against National League South side Yeovil Town at Bolitho Park.

Jake Hyde had given the Glovers a 29th lead with a header.

Tiverton Town went down to a 4-1 defeat to National League South side Truro City at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium.

Ryan Law gave the White Tigers the perfect start with a goal inside the opening minute and Rocky Neal added a second on 38 minutes.

Former Truro favourite Niall Thompson pulled the Yellows back into the game immediately after the break from the penalty spot, only for Ed Palmer on 49 minutes and then a second for Law made it 4-1 to the visitors.

AFC Totton ran out 4-1 winners at the Snows Stadium against Division One South side Hamworthy United.

Scott Rendell bagged a brace for the Stags, with Josh Carmichael and an own goal accounting for the other two – Eddie Hodge having equalised for the Hammers in the 39th minute.

Salisbury went down to a 1-0 defeat at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium to National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Two goals in 7 minutes just after half-time from Sam Deadfield and Jake Gray secured the Beavers` win.

Basingstoke Town beat Combined Counties League side Egham Town 3-1, with D’Andre Brown amongst the goals for the visitors.

Harrow Borough edged out new-look Division One Central side Barton Rovers 2-1 at Earlemead.

Walton & Hersham edged a seven-goal thriller against Isthmian League Premier Division newcomers Hashtag United.

A Eddie Simon hat-trick helped the Swans to an excellent win.

Hanwell Town also had a good win at the Powerday Stadium against Brentford’s B side.

Temi Akinbusoye with two and Dan Carr in time added on at the end sealed a 3-0 win for the Geordies in front of a crowd of 624.

Division One Central

Aylesbury United shared a 1-1 draw with Combined Counties League Premier Division North hosts Chalfont St Peter.

Dave Pearce was the Ducks` marksman.

Bedford Town went down to a 2-1 defeat at The Eyrie to Queens Park Rangers` development side.

A Kyle Connolly free-kick after just 3 minutes had the Eagles in front.

But 5 minutes later, Hamzad Kargbo equalised and then Rafferty Pedder added the R’s second on 36 minutes.

Kidlington enjoyed a 5-0 win at Hellenic League side Wantage Town.

The Greens scored all five in the opening 45 minutes through Jacob Joseph, Jack Joseph, Piers Walton, Oli Orzechowski and an own goal for Matt Massingham’s side.

Kempston Rovers shared a 0-0 draw at Hillgrounds against Isthmian North outfit New Salamis.

Biggleswade FC lost 3-2 at Wessex League Premier Division AFC Stoneham.

Rio Martucci and an own goal for the Greens.

Leighton Town beat Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Aylesbury Vale Dynamos 3-2 at Belel Close.

Albie Hall, Luke Pyman and Louie Barrett were the Leighton scorers.

Division One South

Melksham Town faced a tough test at National League South side Chippenham Town’s Hardenhuish Park and had a good go at a team two levels above before going down 2-1.

Sam Hendy gave Melksham an early 2nd minute lead from distance.

But the Bluebirds secured the Ian Monnery Trophy, thanks to goals from Eddie Jones and Matt McClure.

Yate Town went down to a 2-0 home defeat to National League South outfit Bath City.

Goals from Jack Batten and Cody Cooke proved enough for the Romans.

Willand Rovers edged a 2-1 win at Wessex League Premier Division side Sherborne Town.

Rovers` experienced striker Owen Howe bagged both goals – one in each half.

Paulton Rovers saw off Corsham Town 4-1 at Winterfield Road.

Rovers missed an 11th minute penalty when the Corsham keeper made a fine save to deny Kye Simpson.

But on 26 minutes, Dave O’Hare broke the deadlock to give the hosts the lead.

Five minutes before half-time, Joe Morgan doubled Rovers` lead.

Simpson added a third on 75 minutes and Leo Eglin made it 4-1 just 4 minutes from the end after Corsham had pulled one back from the spot.

Evesham United shared a 2-2 draw with Pershore Town at the Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium.

Wimborne Town went down to a 1-0 defeat at home to Midland League Premier Division side Worcester City.

Dylan Hart with the only goal on the hour-mark for City.

Bristol Manor Farm had a good 2-1 win against Cymru Premier side Barry Town United at The Creek.

Goals from Ben Bament and Aron Robbins earned Farm a very good win.
