It’s a fantastic 11 wins out of 11 matches for Mickleover in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central. Their latest triumph came at home to Royston Town where they had to be patent for Will Atkinson to give them the lead on the hour-mark before Oliver Greaves made the game safe late on.

Their nearest challengers are Halesowen Town who beat AFC Sudbury 4-1 with Miracle Okafor hitting the headlines once more with a hat-trick. Richard Gregory notched the other goal for the Yeltz whilst Malachi Napa scored for the visitors early in the second period.

Redditch United sit fourth and they had a stoppage time winner from Reece Flanagan to thank for their 2-1 victory at Berkhamsted, who actually took the lead through Kyal Williams on the hour. Alex Cameron levelled for the Reds within eight minutes of going behind.

A Finley Wilkinson hat-trick helped Hitchin Town to a thrilling 4-3 triumph over Coalville Town, who took the lead through Terell Pennant. An equaliser from Jack Snelus came as the interval approached, but there was still time before the break for Tom McGlinchey and Luke Shaw to put Coalville in the driving seat. However, Wilkinson’s second half treble turned the scoreline on its head with the winner coming late on.

There was late drama at St. Ives Town where Conor Tee’s late strike gave visitors, Bromsgrove Sporting a 1-0 win, whilst a late Kai George goal was enough to see Alvechurch come home from Stamford with maximum points.

AFC Telford United picked up a 2-1 success against Stratford Town as Byron Moore and new signing, Reece Styche, put them in control before Daniel Lafferty reduced the arrears. It was the same scoreline as Barwell made the short journey home from Nuneaton Borough with a spring in their step after George Ward and former Boro man, Brady Hickey, had put them two up at the interval. Matt Stenson’s strike was not enough for the home side.
