Pitching In Southern League Division One Central leaders, Bedford Town, remain unbeaten after they brought home the points from a 2-1 away victory at Thame United. Early goals from Alex Collard and Ryan Blake put them in the driving seat as the home side could only grab a late consolation through Oscar Lucey.
Moving into second place is North Leigh who won 2-0 at Stotfold with Jack Tutton and Gregory Hackett bagging the goals in the opening period. Their rise came after Kings Langley lost for the first time in the League this term with a 3-0 home reverse at the hands of Leighton Town as Finlay Brennan, Luke Pyman and Albie Hall got the goals.
There was also a home defeat for Cirencester Town as Josh Nelmes’ own goal proved to be the difference against Ware, who are now fourth.
AFC Dunstable got back into winning ways with a 3-2 triumph at Biggleswade, who took the lead through Adam Hunt. An equaliser came from Yoav Sade Lichtenfeld early in the second half before Thomas Coles put the home side back in front. However, a quick-fire double from Callum Nicolson won it for the visitors.
Also winning 3-2 away from home were Aylesbury United as they recovered from going two goals down within the opening 20 minutes at Waltham Abbey following strikes from Sam Shaban and Ben Baker. Just before the half-hour Rocko Tamplin was able to pull a goal back before Max Cavana and Hayden Beadle won it in the second half.
A Ryan Knight goal gave Kidlington victory over Barton Rovers whilst the other game saw Welwyn Garden City and Hertford Town share the spoils in a goalless draw.
