Pitching In Southern League Premier South leaders, Chesham United, were made to work hard for their 1-0 victory at Hendon.
A goal on the hour from Ricardo German was enough to see them extend their lead at the summit to 15 points.
There was a home reverse for Gosport Borough as they succumbed 2-1 to an in-form Beaconsfield Town for whom Luke Neville popped up to get his name on the scoresheet again to put them ahead. The lead was to last barely a minute before Gerson Da Costa Ramos brought the sides level, however, Tom McElroy went on to bag the winner with just over 20 minutes to go.
AFC Totton came home from Didcot Town with a 1-0 triumph as Tony-James Lee hit the all-important goal six minutes before the break.
Another side who tasted success on the road were Hanwell Town who chalked up a 2-1 win at Walton & Hersham. An own goal from Caelan Avenell as the interval approached gave the visitors the lead until parity was restored by Johl Powell. A Sam Evans goal with five minutes to go proved to be the winner.
The other games that survived the weather finished all square as Bracknell Town and Harrow Borough played out a 1-1 draw with Ashley Lodge putting the hosts ahead and Jack Tutton levelling seven minutes later.
It was 2-2 at Swindon Supermarine where visitors, Tiverton Town, came from two goals down to bag two stoppage time strikes. Jake Andrews and Liban Ibrahim put the home side in command early in the second period before Dylan Jones and a Joe Parker effort saw honours end even.
Five games fell victim of the weather.
