The Pitching In Southern League Division One South and Central takes centre stage this weekend as there is a very limited schedule of matches in the top two divisions due to the Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying.
Here is our pick of the action:
EXMOUTH TOWN v YATE TOWN | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE SOUTH
The visitors will have their 100% record seriously tested here. Exmouth have made a solid start to this season with just one defeat from their opening four League games. Ironically that defeat was a 1-0 reverse at Yate on Bank Holiday Monday. Another closely-fought battle is expected here as the visitors arrive on the back of four straight League successes.
WARE v HADLEY | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE CENTRAL
This has all the ingredients to be an entertaining encounter. The home side go into the game with 15 goals and just one defeat from their opening five League games, whilst the visitors have scored 13 times in just four League outings and are yet to taste defeat in the League. Both teams will be looking to break into the leading pack with victory here.
Whilst there is not much Premier South or Central action, there are some mouth-watering games. In Premier South, the day’s only game sees unbeaten leaders, AFC Totton, head to an upwardly-mobile Dorchester Town. Meanwhile over in Premier Central, the in-form Alvechurch and Halesowen Town go head-to-head, as League leaders, Stamford, face a tricky trip to AFC Sudbury.
We would also like to wish all of our Member Clubs who are involved in the Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying the very best of luck.
Details of all games will appear in our Saturday Evening E-Newspaper, which will be available as a FREE download from around 7.30pm on Saturday evening.
