As we enter the busy month of December, there’s some great action ahead this weekend, both across our four divisions and in the Isuzu FA Trophy, which reaches the third round stage.

Here is the pick of the action:

SWINDON SUPERMARINE v WALTON & HERSHAM | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER SOUTH
The home side sit just outside the play-off places and will be looking to start up a new unbeaten run against opponents that sit just two places and two points above them. Last weekend’s reverse at AFC Totton ended a five-game unbeaten League run for the hosts, whilst the visitors are also looking to bounce back from defeat in their last game, meaning they have just one win from their last five League outings.

HALESOWEN TOWN v STAMFORD | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER CENTRAL
Having come out of an intense local derby at Stourbridge last weekend with a point gained from a stoppage time leveller, the hosts hold on to second spot. It’s very close as just four points separate them from Saturday’s opponents who are just outside the play-off places. The hosts last lost in the League at the end of September, whilst Stamford got back into winning ways last weekend after three League games without a win prior to that.

EXMOUTH TOWN v BEMERTON HEATH HARLEQUINS | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE SOUTH
The hosts go into the game still sitting in second place despite two defeats in a row, including a last-gasp loss at Bristol Manor Farm in their last outing. With the chasing pack closing in, they are determined to get back into winning ways but will face a stern examination from an upwardly-mobile Bemerton Heath Harlequins side who have lost just once in their last five League games and are now only four points shy of the top five.

REAL BEDFORD v BERKHAMSTED | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE CENTRAL
An easy choice for Game of the Day here as the top two do battle. The home side sit second in the table, a point off the leaders but with a game in hand. They ended a run of two successive draws with victory at Northwood last weekend, whilst their opponents are on a run of six League games unbeaten, of which they have secured five wins, including a 2-0 victory over Biggleswade FC in their last outing to reach the 40-point mark. Quite an encounter is in prospect here.

We also send out our best wishes to all of our Member Clubs who are involved in the Isuzu FA Trophy this weekend.
