There is more intriguing action ahead this weekend across our four divisions.
Here is our pick of the action:
WALTON & HERSHAM v POOLE TOWN | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER SOUTH
This encounter has an impact at both ends of the table. For the hosts, they are looking to strengthen their position on the coat-tails of the top two, whilst the visitors are eager to build on their victory in the last game to haul themselves out of the relegation zone. The home side saw a run of four straight wins come to an end last weekend when they were held to a draw at Hanwell, however they have gone 12 League games without defeat. Poole meanwhile enjoyed victory in their latest outing having gone eight games without a win and they hope it can be the spark they need.
HITCHIN TOWN v HALESOWEN TOWN | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER CENTRAL
Another clash which has implications at both ends of the table, the home side know that with games running out, they have to find some momentum. They have won just one of their last seven outings and having played more games than those around them, they need to get onto a positive run. At the other end of the table, Halesowen sit third, just two points off top spot, but by the same token, only nine points separate the top eight. Therefore, they need to maintain current form which sees them undefeated in their last five outings.
WILLAND ROVERS v BISHOPS CLEEVE | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE SOUTH
Continuing our theme of battles at both ends of the table, this one pits the hosts who are battling to keep out of the relegation zone against opponents who are eager to hold on to their place in the play-off zone amidst plenty of competition. Goal difference keeps Willand out of the bottom four and they go into this one without a win in seven games, although included in this is a recent draw at leaders, Yate Town. They come up against a Bishops Cleeve outfit who have just one defeat from their last ten League games.
FLACKWELL HEATH v HADLEY | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE CENTRAL
Whilst the top two battle it out, below them there is a race to make up the remaining three play-off places and both Flackwell and Hadley are at the very heart of it. The home side are fourth and determined to bounce back from defeat in their last League game, whilst the visitors go into the game one place and two points below them. They are without a win in their last four League outings so will be determined to get back on track. Three big points are up for grabs here in what is sure to be a keenly-fought contest.
