NAME: Colin Davies
AGE: 62
CLUB: Wimborne Town
HOW LONG HAVE YOU SUPPORTED YOUR CLUB AND HOW DID YOUR SUPPORT FIRST BEGIN? In 2001 I met our old chairman at a local game and decided to visit. I’ve not been away since!
HOW WOULD YOU ASSESS THE 2024/25 SEASON FOR YOUR CLUB? It was a really solid season given how much the other promoted sides struggled. To finish in the top half was a great achievement.
WHO WAS YOUR CLUB’S BEST PLAYER IN 2024/25 AND WHY? Sam Roberts, our central defender was my best player, although any of the defence could have been nominated. Will Fletcher bagged a fair amount of goals and also did very well.
WHO WERE THE BEST OPPOSING TEAM IN 2024/25? Merthyr Town pulled us apart at their place. They were deserved title winners, in my opinion.
WHO WAS THE BEST OPPOSING PLAYER IN 2024/25? No-one particularly stood out as there were a lot of quality opposing players in this League.
FAVOURITE AWAY GROUND AND WHY? Plymouth Parkway was an enjoyable away day despite the result.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN 2024/25? Seeing our local rivals, Poole Town, struggle in the lower reaches of the table as we moved up the table takes some beating!
HOPES FOR 2025/26? To consolidate and secure another top half finish.
