On Good Friday, Forest of Dean MP, Matt Bishop, paid a visit to his local club Hartpury FC where he heard about the rise of the Pitching In Southern League Division One South club, met volunteers and even served behind the bar!
They have embraced their first-ever season at this level, playing some attractive football from a talented young group of players as they sit seventh in the table.
This Saturday sees them play host to Melksham Town before Mousehole AFC visit on Tuesday. Their final away game takes place at Tavistock AFC as their League campaign ends at home to Bashley.
