Poole Town slipped into seventh place in the table, with games in hand – all home games – after beating a Hayes & Yeading United side who started the game at the SKYex Community Stadium ahead of them in the table. The Dolphins took a 24th-minute lead when a cross was put into his own net by Liam McDevitt.

Then right on half-time, Manny Duku pulled the home side back on level terms. Hayes & Yeading suffered a blow on 68 minutes when an injured Duku was shown a red card in the process of leaving the field following an injury to leave them with ten-men. And Poole eventually took advantage of their extra man in the 83rd minute when Jamie Whisken made it 2-1.
