A scrappy draw against an aggressive Moneyfields outfit who belied their lowly league position.
Paulton went ahead on 8 minutes as Ben Bament played a through ball and Dave Sims Burgess who outpaced the defender saw his first shot parried by keeper Matt Flintoft but turned the loose ball into the net.
Monies long ball policy and Rovers lack of fluency nullified lots effort and the home striker Steve Hutchings drove wide and had another effort held by Paulton's 18-year-old stopper Aaron Sainsbury.
Hutchings a constant threat when not sitting on his backside moaning at the referee at every decision, raced on to another long ball from centre back Sam Pearce to play in Miles Everett to lob over Sainsbury to level on 29 minutes.
Rovers started the second half much the livelier and Ed Butcher and Bament fired wide.
Hutchings then had a chance kick off the line by Ryan Gay then Sainsbury saved from the danger man.
In the last five minutes, Butcher crossed and Sims Burgess clipped the crossbar and Gay's follow up was cleared off the line by Pearce.
